The publication requirements for New York State are more involved than those of other states, however, with over a decade of experience, we know exactly how to complete the process correctly…the first time.
Our New York publishing services include:
- obtaining the Designation of Publication from the appropriate county clerk
- drafting the legal notice
- publishing the notice in each of the two county clerk designated newspapers for six consecutive weeks – one weekly and one daily – in accordance with the statute
- obtaining the Affidavits of Publication from the publishers
- preparing and filing the Certificate of Publication and Affidavits of Publication with the New York Secretary of State
- delivering the Affidavits of Publication and the filing receipt to you
- we also notify you which newspapers have been designated as well as the specific run dates for each paper
- we can also provide you with a copy of the letter from the county clerk which indicates what newspapers they have designated.
